Architecture Design

The architecture of a Decision Support System is determined by the final results of the Analysis et is composed of 3 different parts : DataWarehouse, specialized Hypercubes and Front-end applications.

The physical architecture of the relational DataWarehouse must satisfy to the following objectives :

*Data exhaustiveness regarding the Analysis recommendations
*Evolutive physical structures to allow adding and modifications
*Optimization of data storage to deal with huge volumes
*Accessibility to Hypercubes building procedures
*Data naming and codifications transformation and normalization
*Structural independence from operational data sources

The physical architecture of multidimensional Hypercubes have to reach these objectives :

*Data exhaustiveness regarding the Analysis recommendations
*Multidimensional structure corresponding to analysis specifications and features
*Global and partial calculation management
*Partial data allocation
*Optimization of calculation strategies to deal with volumes
*Optimization of data storage to deal with volumes

The Front End applications have to be chosen and developed to correspond to different user profiles et provide them the informations defined in Analysis phase.

These goals will be achieved by INDA Technical Architects using our strong experience and thorough technical design methodology.
